Anushka Sharma took a day off from her busy schedule. While she’s finalising the details of her second production and figuring her life around a zillion projects, and their promotions, the 20-something girl zoomed off to Ahmedabad. She headed to the business capital of Gujarat to spend a quiet day with boyfriend Virat Kohli who turned a year older today. The actress reached the city late last night just in time to bring in her beaus birthday.
The cricketer, who is currently captaining India against Sri Lanka in an ongoing series, only has one day to spare for his birthday before setting foot on the field in Ahmedabad on Thursday (tomorrow). A source close to the cricketer says, “We are staying at J W Marriott, Ahmedabad. And Anushka flew in last night for a party at Novotel. The team has to be on field for practice on today but they will smuggle time to be with each other. She may stay over to watch the match also but given her work schedule, shes just as likely to head back to Mumbai or Delhi, depending on where she needs to be on tomorrow.”
